ABOUT BUTTER BIRD

Butter Bird represents the powerful convergence of three distinct artistic voices, each bringing a decade of musical experience and creative vision to this collaboration. Together, we create an immersive folk experience that resonates with contemporary audiences while honoring folk traditions.

Pascale Cheron

Pascale Cheron is a singer-songwriter and producer based in Monterey and the Bay Area. Her music draws on legacies of jazz, folk, and experimental music. It has been described as hauntingly ethereal with an improvisatory approach to melody.

Pascale has written over 75 songs since 2018, and has recorded and released three albums and various singles. She has had the opportunity to tour nationally and internationally as a solo artist and as accompanist for others, playing at venues as the High Dive in Seattle, The Volkstheater in Germany, the Center for New Media and Audio Technologies in Berkeley, the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Starday Tavern in Portland, the Neck of the Woods in San Francisco, and Fernwood in Big Sur.

Sadie Radinsky

Sadie Radinsky is a folk singer from the mountains of LA, residing in San Francisco. She writes about societal and climatic upheaval inspired by the style of Joni Mitchell, finding humor in the insane and beauty in change.

Her first EP is slated to release June 2025. Her other writing can be found on substack or in her first book, published in 2021.

Sophia Eliana

Sophia Eliana (she/her) is a Denver-based folk musician, florist, and dancer from Monterey, California. She fosters the craft of storytelling through songs that resemble overgrown meadows blossoming with wildflowers and artwork reminiscent of a warm hug from a loved one.

Sophia Eliana has embarked on multiple national and international tours, performing at venues such as Mengi (Reykjavik, Iceland), to The 1932 Criterion Theatre (Bar Harbor, ME) to The Artist bar Valencia (Valencia, Spain) to Denver PrideFest (Denver, CO). Sophia Eliana's debut album, "Pears & Honey," kicks off with field recordings of spring peepers and Acadia National Park brooks, setting the tone for the ensuing track list — a set of songs dripping with saccharine vocals and lyrics that leave you feeling like you just indulged in a sweet spoonful of honey. Anticipate her studio sophomore album summer of 2025.
